CBI: No Proof Of Murder In Sushant’s Case, Abetment To Suicide Being Explored
Central agency has said it has found no evidence of murder angle in actor’s death case.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has suspended all investigations into the murder angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, according to sources. It is being said that no evidence of any murder angle has been found yet in the probe. It also means that the CBI will now investigate for a possible angle of abetment to suicide. A case of the same offence was registered against Rhea Chakraborty by Sushant’s father, KK Singh with the Bihar Police a month after his death in Mumbai.
Sources say that the next key element into the Sushant probe is going to be a report that is to be submitted by a forensic team at the All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS). The CBI was finally handed the case of the Bollywood actor’s death last month by the Supreme Court after a tussle of sorts had erupted between the Mumbai Police and Bihar Police over who must get primary investigative rights in the case.
