Cardi B, Offset welcome new addition to their lives
Rapper couple Cardi B and Offset welcomed their second child together
Motherhood is in the air. Joining this list is rapper and actor Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar better known to her fans as Cardi B. Revealing her second stint at motherhood, the rapper who has set social media on fire with her posts, shared the news in an Instagram post.
With husband Rapper Offset beside her on the hospital bed, the yet again parents are seen adoring their new bundle of joy. Cardi B is motherhood personified as she holds the newborn wrapped in a blue blanket in her arms. Offset too took to Instagram to share the news with a cryptic caption ‘Chapter 5’. Offset’s post shows him basking in fatherly love as he holds the newborn close to his chest in a bed adjacent to Cardi B, who looks on lovingly.
Careful with the face reveal
Coincidentally, both the posts do not remotely offer even the smallest of peeking at the little one, and have the parents disclosed the gender of the newborn. However, fans have interpreted the child to be a boy given the blue colour of the blanket and the colours that Cardi B used in her Instagram post.
This development will make Kulture Kiari, their 3-year-old daughter, the ‘big sister’ to the new arrival. Cardi B had announced the impending arrival of the kiddo while performing at the BET Awards, an event where she shared the stage with Offset and his group Migos. During this performance, Cardi B wore a glittery, formfitting bodysuit that showcased her baby bump. The couple came together in 2017, and Kulture was in their lives, a year later.
Cardi in a recent post that showed a lovable picture of the pair, captioned it, “Sooo proud of you my dear @offsetyrn May God protect you and lead you in the right paths.” Offset’s Chapter 5 remark stems from the fact that he is a super-dad to his 6-year-old daughter Kalea Marie Cephus, and sons Jordan Cephus, 11 and Kody Cephus, 6, from his previous relationships. Now, the buzz will be centred around what the proud parents decide to name the newborn.
