Bollywood Drugs Case: Deepika Padukone’s former manager Karishma Prakash was grilled by NCB after illegal substances were found at her residence.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) got hold of Deepika Padukone’s former manager Karishma Prakash in connection with the ongoing Bollywood drug probe which put many stars under the magnifying glass of law & order. The agency had summoned Prakash a while back but she had been untraceable since she was asked to appear in front of the agency after it found banned substances like Hashish and CBD Oil from her residence during the multiple raids which were conducted last month. After turn tailing the agency for days, Karishma Prakash finally appeared in front of the NCB where she was grilled for having alleged connection with drug peddlers. Check out the video below –
ANI had initially reported that NCB had summoned employees of the Kwaan Talent Agency for having connections with the ongoing drugs probe. Deepika Padukone and Prakash’s chats were accessed by the NCB in which the two could be seen discussing illegal substances. Following this, both of them were asked to appear for questioning. After skipping the first questioning, Karishma was asked to join the investigation and appear for more questionings in which she failed to appear. These raised concerns surrounding Karishma’s connection with the drugs probe.
According to the video above, NCB grilled Karishma Prakash for having an alleged connection with drug peddlers. Whereas, the line of questioning is also revealed in the video above which states that Karishma was asked – ‘Have You Been In Touch With Drug Peddlers?’, ‘What Was The Purpose Of Your Chat With Drug Peddler?’, ‘Do You Consume Drugs?’& ‘How Often Have You Purchased Drugs?’. Besides this, reports suggest that NCB asked her for the names of the drug peddlers who were linked to her.
Karishma Prakash, manager of actor Deepika Padukone, files anticipatory bail application before special NDPS court in Mumbai.
Prakash was recently summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau, but she didn’t appear before the agency.
