BMC’s Demolition Drive At Kangana Ranaut’s Office Looked More Like Revenge, Says NCP Chief Sharad Pawar
Pawar said that Kangana Ranaut’s remark that “Mumbai feels like PoK” was totally inappropriate, however, BMC’s demolition drive at her property has given “unnecessary publicity” to her.

The BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) recently demolished Kangana Ranaut’s illegal office construction. This incident sparked several controversies. After comments from various political leaders, Bollywood celebs and journalists, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar whose party is currently part of the ruling alliance with the Shiv Sena shared his views. Pawar said that Kangana Ranaut’s remark that “Mumbai feels like PoK” was totally inappropriate and the Mumbai civic body’s demolition drive at her property has given “unnecessary publicity” to the actor. Pawar further said that BMC’s demolition drive looks more like revenge and it will certainly add fuel to this matter.
The entire incident took place after a war of words broke out between Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut. Kangana criticised Mumbai Police’s credibility in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Later, Sanjay Raut publicly insulted the actress by making improper comments at her.
