BJP Headquarters In Bihar Rocked By COVID-19 As 75 Leaders Test Positive In One Day

In an incident that has rocked the government of Bihar, 75 leaders visiting the BJP headquarters in Patna have tested positive for COVID-19 in just one day. They were tested by authorities yesterday, and the results have sent shock waves among the party members in the state. Bihar BJP General Secretary, Devesh Kumar, and Member of Legislative Council Radha Mohan Sharma are included in the list of those infected by the deadly virus.
In the last 24 hours, 1,116 new cases and 9 deaths have been reported from 38 districts of Bihar. This is the reason why the state government has decided to again impose a lockdown from July 16 onwards that will go on till July 31, 2020, according to an announcement made by Deputy Chief Minister, Sushil Kumar Modi today. Despite the lockdown, air and rail travel will continue to run as normal, but places of religious worship will shut down. Essential services and product deliveries will continue to function as normal.
