BJP Has No Patents Or Rights Over Lord Ram, Says Veteran Congress Leader Kamal Nath
The former Madhya Pradesh CM had organised a Hanuman Chalisa at his residence just a day before Ram Mandir’s Bhoomi Pujan in Ayodhya.
A lot of questions were raised against former Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath after he organised a Hanuman Chalisa at his residence just a day prior to Ram Mandir’s Bhoomi Pujan in Ayodhya. Reporters asked Nath if he is trying to tell the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) that he is a Hanuman Bhakt, as opposed to them being Ram Bhakts? Addressing the question, the senior Congress leader said that he genuinely welcomed the construction of Ram temple. At the same time he questioned BJP’s propaganda and said that the party has no patents or rights over Ram.
Talking about Hanuman Chalisa, Nath said that he conducts Hanuman Chalisa every year and has no intentions of playing political tricks. He further added that the gates of the Ram temple were opened by Rajiv Gandhi in 1985 and in 1989, while a similar Bhoomi Pujan was already done. Nath even said that in 1989, Gandhi had started a campaign by saying, “We are going to have Ram Rajya in India.”
