BJP Government Accuses Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi Of Depressing The Nation Amid Tough Times
BJP criticizes Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for not attending crucial meetings in Parliament and criticising the government despite his non-participation.
India is currently going through a lot of tensions — the Coronavirus pandemic, the economic downturn, and border disputes. Amid this tough times, the opposition parties are continuously criticising the government. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been taking a dig at the Modi government on several issues. To give him a befitting reply, the BJP on Monday launched a fresh attack on Rahul Gandhi for not attending a single meeting of the standing committee of Parliament on Defence, and also accused him of trying to demoralise the nation.
BJP president JP Nadda said that Gandhi skips meetings of the all-critical Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence but continues to demoralise the nation and question the valour of armed forces. Stepping up the attack on the Gandhi scion, BJP spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao said Gandhi chose not to attend as many as 11 meetings of the Standing Committee on Defence held so far.
