We see her every week day as both Manga and Nithya, the good and evil twin sisters, in the popular Telugu TV show Kalyana Vaibhogam. And she also plays a major role in another Telugu serial Raktha Sambandham. As the talented actor Meghana Lokesh turns a year younger, here’s looking back at her journey.

Meghana was born in Karnataka’s Mysore. Her dad was an engineer and her mom, a lecturer. She has a brother and he is an engineer too.

Meghana was about eight-years-old when she started doing theatre. She has done almost 270 shows. Her theatre guru is noted actor and theatre personality Mandya Ramesh.

Meghana started her TV career in a Zee Kannada TV serial named Devi where she played the role of a supporting actor. Her first lead role was also in Kannada in the TV serial Pavitra Bandhana. She later did another TV serial, Purushottama in Zee Kannada.

Even though she started her career with Kannada TV serials, Meghana shot to fame with a Telugu serial Sasirekha Parinayam following which she also did a couple of Telugu films. Her biggest role so far, that of twin sisters Nithya and Manga in the popular Telugu TV show Kalyana Vaibhogam, happened in 2017. The next year, she started acting in another popular Zee Telugu serial Raktha Sambandham.

Meghana recently got married to Swaroop Bharadwaj in Mysore. She shared beautiful pictures of her wedding on her Instagram for her fans.
