This Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee directed movie hit the headlines for bringing the superhit jodi of Prosenjit and Rituparna back on the big screen. Praktan is the story of an estranged couple, who accidentally meet during a train journey. Watch it again for some brilliant performances by the star cast.

A thriller, Drishtikone is directed by Kaushik Ganguly. Srimoti (played by Rituparna) has lost her husband in a car accident. However, she suspects foul play and hires visually impaired lawyer Jiyon Mitra (played by Prosenjit) to find out the truth. As he investigates, Jiyon falls for Srimoti, creating trouble in his married life.

3. Alik Sukh

Alik Sukh, a Bengali psychological thriller stars Debshankar Haldar and Sohini Sengupta along with Rituparna. Gynaecologist Dr Kingshuk Guha gets into trouble when one of his patients dies. His wife is upset about it and that affects their relationship. To make things worse, Dr Guha goes for an out-of-court settlement for his mistake. This further angers his wife Rumi and she suffers from a fall. Will they be able to mend their relationship?

4. Atithi

Two youngsters, Antim and Antara, meet with an accident, following which they have a memory loss. As a result, they are put in an asylum. As secrets about their past are revealed, we get to find out what led to the accident. Watch Atithi, which stars Manoj Mitra, Nishan Nanaiah and Saayoni Ghosh apart from Rituparna.

Think back to the times when Prosenjit and Rituparna Sengupta were the hottest pair in Tollywood and every movie of theirs would be a runaway hit? Well, Ashroy is a Bengali movie from back then.In this Haranath Chakbraborty directed film, Prosenjit’s character Sudhanshu falls for Joyshree, who is an orphan raised by three eunuchs. Sudhanshu’s father Dr Ankhu is against the marriage but his stepmother supports her. However, Sudhanshu meets with an accident. Will Dr Ankhu succeed in removing Joyshree from Sudhanshu’s life?
