Bihar Elections: BJP Releases First List Of 27 Candidates Ahead Of Assembly Elections
As soon as BJP announced the list, many members left the party and joined the LJP.
The Bihar Assembly Elections will begin from October 28 and will end on November 7. Ahead of the big days, The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday, October 6 released the first list of 27 candidates for the upcoming elections. As soon as the list was announced, many BJP members left the party and joined the LJP (Lok Janshakti Party). It even created a lot of inter-party disputes. The Janata Dal (United) will contest 122 seats and will allot seven seats to Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Hindustani Awam Morcha. On the other hand, the Bharatiya Janata Party will contest 121 seats and a maximum of nine seats and a minimum of seven will be allotted to Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP).
According to the sources, Commonwealth Games gold medallist shooter Shreyasi Singh will contest from the Jamui. Shreyasi Singh had joined the BJP earlier this week.
