Bihar Elections 2020: Political Parties Use Caste Factor To Woo Voters
The Bihar Assembly Elections are on its way and the parties are leaving no stone unturned in their campaigning

The Bihar Assembly Elections are impending and the parties are leaving no stone unturned in their campaigning. The city of Sasaram plays a crucial role in the elections. It constitutes 52 per cent of male voters and 48 per cent of female voters. When locals were asked if they are satisfied with the ruling party, they said that though the ruling party is doing a great job, they want their leader to win the upcoming elections. Even as the political parties claim that development is the key plank in the elections, the caste and religion factor, however, has always been driving force to win any election and all the parties capitalise on it.
Political parties across India strive to use caste and religion of people to seek their own benefits. They use this factor for winning elections by wooing the voters of a particular caste or religion.
