Bigg Boss 7 Fame Ajaz Khan Arrested By NCB After Eight Hours Of Interrogation
Ajaz Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau after an 8-hour interrogation on Wednesday. He said only ‘sleeping pills were found’.
Ajaz Khan was detained from the Mumbai airport by Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) on 30th March. On 31st March, Ajaz was arrested by NCB after eight hours of interrogation. The actor, however, claimed that only sleeping pills were found on him, which he said belonged to his wife. The NCB suspects he consumed drugs and was part of the drug supply syndicate run by Farooq Batata and his son Shadab Batata. He was arrested after his name came up in the NCB investigation of drug peddler Shadab’s arrest.
It was confirmed by NCB officials that Ajaz Khan has been arrested by the agency after eight hours of interrogation on 30th March. The actor was detained from the Mumbai airport on March 31 and was brought to the NCB office for the probe. Farooq Batata was also interrogated by the NCB for eight hours in the same case. He was then allowed to leave. His son, Shadab, was arrested last week by the NCB. Once Ajaz’s connection with the drug syndicate run by Farooq and Shadab Batata was established, he was placed under arrest.
The NCB took the actor for a medical check-up after his arrest. He was produced before a Mumbai court on 31st March.
