Bhagya Lakshmi 24 August 2023 Written Update: Rishi defends Lakshmi

In the previous episode of Bhagya Lakshmi, Rishi keeps thinking about Lakshmi and misses her. Malishka tries to cheer him up and talks about their upcoming wedding. She tells him to forget Lakshmi and close the chapter on her which infuriates him. Neelam arrives there and tells him that she will not hear any excuse from him and mentions that the date of his wedding has been set. Later, Lakshmi starts working at the jewellery store and Malishka and Rishi arrive there.

In the next episode of Bhagya Lakshmi, Malishka tries to insult Lakshmi and taunts her by saying she will be the one who is marrying Rishi. Virendra and Harleen talk about the situation at home and agree that Rishi won’t be happy with Malishka after their marriage and neither Lakshmi, who is trying to move on. Rishi later remains grim, and Malishka asks why he is not happy about their marriage and the dream they had seen together. Lakshmi, back at the jewellery shop, tells her co-workers that whoever Rishi marries, will be lucky as he is a very nice person. Shalu and Bani wonder if Lakshmi will ever be happy. At their office, Virendra calms Aayush down and tells him that he shouldn’t be so hard on himself as there are always ups and downs in business. Malishka later comes home with Rishi and tells everyone that she got her jewellery and the nuptial chain as well. She also gossips that Lakshmi works at the same jewellery store. Karishma goes on to insult Lakshmi, but Rishi interrupts her and defends Lakshmi, which again surprises everyone. Neelam stops Rishi and says that he should move on with his life now with Malishka and leave Lakshmi in the past and forget her. Rishi steps away and mentions that he will never forget Lakshmi, even if Malishka is in his life. He walks away, leaving everyone stunned by his demeanour and words. Neelam and Karishma calm an anxious Malishka down and tell her that she must win over Rishi. Elsewhere, Lakshmi refuses to listen to Shalu and Bani when they try to talk to her about Rishi. Aayush knocks on their door, and everyone feels glad to see him. Lakshmi too feels happy to see Aayush but later, he gives them the news of Malishka and Rishi’s marriage. He hugs her and cries, begging her to not leave Rishi and to move on with him.
