Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh has been prepping up for Diwali 2020 with stunning lightings and an attractive line up of events. Ayodhya has been decorated with 5,50,000 earthen lanterns, popularly known as diyas in the country. In the video attached, a moving parade is seen showcasing unique cultures and styles from different parts of the country. In one segment of the video, young girls are seen dressed in colourful sarees while sitting in a moving carriage. They were also spotted with beautiful face paint and golden crowns and jewellery.
In another part of the video, a bunch of young men and women are seen performing for the people while following the carriage with rhythmic steps. A traditional musical instrument is being used by a few men while the women carry a series of earthen pots on their heads with marching in the parade. Another highlight of Shobha Yatra seems to be the peacock dancers who are seen dressed in bright traditional outfits while wearing a bunch of real peacock feathers on their backs. Most people are also seen with proper facemasks to protect themselves as per government rules.
The last part of the video shows a group of young boys who are gearing up for a special dance performance. The unique dance style requires high energy as it includes jumping around while catching the beat right. These dancers are seen dressed in bright yellow shirts with colourful shorts that have been made with traditional cotton beads.
The people in Ayodhya have been quite excited about the event as ‘Deepotsav’ is happening for the first time after the commencement of Ram Mandir construction. The event will be telecast live across the world so the people can enjoy the events, specially put together for Diwali 2020.
