Actor and writer Ashutosh Rana had published his 2nd book Ram Rajya in February this year. Recently in an interview with Aaj Tak on the occasion of Dussehra, he spoke about his book in detail. Shweta Singh, the anchor of Aaj Tak, spoke to him about a few lines from his book.

Ashutosh Rana talks about his book Ram Rajya

Ashutosh Rana had released his book Ram Rajya in February. On the occasion of Dussehra on October 25, in the interview, Shweta Singh mentioned a few lines from his book and asked him to talk about the relevance of his definition of Ram in his book in today’s era. While talking about the book, he mentioned that the book not only outlines Lord Ram’s biography but will also help the reader meet the real Ram in oneself. He added that Lord Ram was someone who followed personal ethics, helped the society, had good behaviour towards his family and his nation. And the book teaches us to become like him who inculcated these values in his own life, he said.

He mentioned that when Lord Ram existed, gods and demons lived on different lands, later they lived on the same land and now in our era, they live together in the same society and families. Shweta stated that in today’s era, people usually talk more about Ravan Dahan on Dussehra than talking about Ram and asked if we should think beyond that. He said that Ravan’s Dahan should be used as a source of awareness of the victory of Ram’s goodness over Ravan’s evil acts. He added that Ramayan is much more than we know today and he has mentioned the same in his book in depth. In the end, Shweta said that everyone is aware of Ramayan but has a different viewpoint towards the story.

Ashutosh Rana on the work front

Ramrajya is Ashutosh Rana’s second book after Maun Muskaan Ki Maar. He was last seen in Vicky Kaushal’s film Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship and Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 3His role in Baaghi 3 was critically acclaimed by the audience. He will next be seen in his upcoming films Shamshera, Prithiviraj, Pagglait and Hungama 2.
