Aryan Khan Drug Case: Rhea Chakraborty’s Name Brought Up During Shah Rukh Khan Son’s Bail Hearing

Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, is facing legal issues since he was arrested by the NCB in a drug case. He along with few others were detained after a raid at a rave party on Mumbai to Goa bound cruise on October 2. He was put in jail, and his custody was extended till October 7. Today was the hearing of Aryan Khan’s drug case in a court in Mumbai. It was reported that Shah Rukh Khan sought help from senior lawyer Satish Maneshinde in his son’s arrest case.

It has been reported by a leading daily that Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh appeared for the NCB and sought further custody. Now again according to a leading portal, Additional Solicitor General (ASG) has brought up the charges put on Rhea Chakraborty to state how the charges were non-bailable.

The Solicitor General reportedly read out the Bombay High Court Judgment to point out that all the NDPS offenses levelled at them were non-bailable. Lawyer Maneshinde had reportedly argued in the court that Aryan was invited to the cruise along with his friend Merchantt. He also said that Aryan had not paid any money to get on the ship. He went on to say that nothing incriminating was recovered from Aryan Khan except his mobile phone. His friend Merchantt was arrested because he had six grams of charas, but that has nothing to do with his client, Aryan Khan, the lawyer concluded.

Satish also disproved the claim of NCB that Aryan Khan consumed drugs even when he was abroad. While talking about the same he said during the entire period of Aryan’s stay abroad, he has not been involved in any trafficking, supply, or distribution of drugs.

According to the reports of a leading daily, NCB is likely to seek an extension in the custody of Aryan Khan today’s hearing in the court. As per the reports of a leading news portal, NCB arrested a foreign national from Bandra late Wednesday night and it was reported that a commercial quantity of mephedrone (MD) was recovered from the man who is now arrested.
