Amid this, a heartbreaking image of a three-year-old boy sitting on the motionless body of his grandfather at an encounter site went viral. The man who was killed in the cross-firing was a civilian. The boy sitting on his grandfather’s body was immediately rescued by security forces. The young boy was very scared, but the security forces managed to safely take him to his home.
The family members of the man were devastated and said that he left his house at 6 am as usual for his work. While he was on his way, he was bombarded with bullets. In this encounter, one Army jawan was martyred while three of them were severely injured.
