India vs New Zealand World Test Championship Final is being played at UK’s Southampton. However, due to the rainy weather, the first session of this ‘Ultimate Test’ has already been suspended. And Anushka Sharma, just like every cricket fan, doesn’t want the rain to interrupt the game further. Highlighting the weather at Southampton, the actor shared a nursery rhyme with a twist of her own. And we love it!

The Day 1 of the Test match was interrupted by bad weather. This made Anushka Sharma recall the rhyme ‘Rain Rain Go Away’. Taking to her Instagram story, she wrote, “Rain rain go away, come again after five days.” For those unaware, the Ind Vs Nz test match is scheduled from June 18 to June 22. Anushka has accompanied her husband and Indian skipper Virat Kohli to the UK. The actor is quarantined at Ageas Bowl Stadium, the venue of the Test final.

Well, this is not the first time Anushka has joined Virat for a tour. The actor never misses out on a chance to cheer for her hubby and team India. Recently, Anushka also shared some inside pictures from the hotel where all Indian players are stationed at. As per the reports, newborn Vamika is also on her first tour with Anushka and Virat.

Coming back to the game, ‘Reserve Day’ was already announced with reference to the rain forecast at Southampton. While Day 1 was washed off due to heavy rains, the final opened up on Day 2. Winning the toss, NZ skipper Kane Willaimson opted to bowl first. Playing 92.1 overs, India was all out on the score of 217. By the end of Day 3, NZ has put up a total of 101 for 2 on the board, playing 49 overs.

Now, as per the recent reports, Day 4 i.e today’s play might be affected due to persistent rain in Southampton.
