Aamir Khan’s film Taare Zameen Par is a blockbuster film which is remembered even today for its off-beat content and promising performances. However, at the time of the film’s release, a major controversy had erupted where the directorial credits were given to Aamir Khan while it was originally supposed to be given to Amole Gupte. The latter had come up with the entire concept of the film but he was only given a mention in the writers’ team. In a recent interaction with a publication, the actor had been speaking about his latest film Saina which is a biopic film on badminton champion, Saina Nehwal. In the interaction, the director revealed that he moved on with life and has gotten over the incident as he believes time heals all wounds.

Bollywood film Taare Zameen Par is one of the most celebrated films of Bollywood which is also considered one of the classics today. Not many people are aware that the film originally came with a major controversy which involved director Amole Gupte and director Aamir Khan. The issue erupted when the two artists got into a conflict on the set and Aamir Khan took over the direction of the film. More than half of the film had been reportedly directed by Amole Gupte but he was not given the due credits for it. His name was mentioned in the writers’ team as he was the one who came up with the concept. Aamir even received an award in the ‘Best Director’ category, even though he only had a part to play in it.
Director Amole Gupte recently opened up on the controversy and shed some light on how he dealt with the entire scenario. According to the video attached above, he revealed that he moved on with time kept coming up with new projects as he believes that he owes it to the art. He believes time heals all wounds which are exactly what happened with him.
