Amber Heard to make a horror movie with James Wan?
If rumours are to be believed that is going around in the tinsel town, the Aquaman fame actress Amber Heard might soon be seen in a horror movie
Is director James Wan keen to cast his Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom star Amber Heard in a Hollywood horror flick? While there is no official indication of this, the grapevine has it that James Wan and Amber Heard will use the time together for the latest DC Extended Universe (DCEU) flick, shooting for which commenced in the United Kingdom, to discuss this project.
The horror flick
If James Wan does cast Amber Heard in the new horror flick that he is plotting, it will not come as a surprise to fans of both the director and this actor. Amber Heard too is not a newbie to the horror genre with not-so-successful forays in flicks such as All the Boys Love Mandy Lane and The Ward.
James Wan’s contribution to the horror genre including the famous Saw franchise, The Conjuring Universe, and his latest effort Malignant has established him as a Hollywood person with a pulse for the macabre. Notwithstanding the big-budget blockbusters that James Wan has delivered in his career, his first love is and remains to scare the real living daylights of his fans on the reel.
The sexiest woman
Regarded as one of the 100 sexiest women in the world at #25 in the FHM UK list, this 35-year-old American actor, who married Johnny Depp in 2015, is perhaps striving to prove a point to her critics. She starred opposite Woody Harrelson, Bill Murray and Jesse Eisenberg in the 2009 box office hit Zombieland. Amber Heard’s involvement in the DCEU sequel to Aquaman is a big boost to her career.
Producer Peter Safran backing Amber Heard should comfort this actor who is involved in an ugly marital spat with her now-divorced A-lister husband Johnny Depp. Safran backing Amber Heard also comes at a time when fans of Depp are demanding her head for what they feel is her ill-conceived legal battle with the Pirates of the Caribbean star. Incidentally, Aquaman grossed about $1.148 billion worldwide, making it the highest-grossing DCEU film to date, and performed well in the valued Chinese market. Amber Heard in the interim will keep her fingers crossed on the outcome of her impending lawsuit in Virginia.
