Harano Prapti, a new Bengali movie on ZEE5 starring actors Soham Chakraborty, Tanushree Chakraborty, and Paayel Sarkar in the lead. Harano Prapti tells the story of Maya (Tanushree Chakraborty), a rape survivor, who makes it her mission to bring the criminals to justice. Harano Prapti raises awareness about sexual assault and violence on women, as well as the gaps in our law and order system. Amar Artanad is a 2020 Bengali drama starring Arpita Chatterjee, Soumitra Chatterjee and Manoj Mitra. The story revolves around a lawyer who fights against all odds to get justice when a horrible incident traumatises a young girl while she is at school! The film brings to light the prejudice and failings inherent in an archaic system.

2. Satyameva Jayate

Satyameva Jayate is a ZEE5 Original drama film starring Arjun Chakraborty, Saurasani Maitra, Vipin Sharma, Sudiptaa Chakraborty, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Jayant Kripalani. Directed by Arindam Sil, the story revolves around a simple shopkeeper who is harassed by goons and denied justice in the court of law. Watch this engaging drama that reveals the ugly truth of the metropolitan city of Kolkata.

3. Kader Kuler Bou

Kader Kuler Bou is a 2015 Bengali action drama film starring Koneenica Banerjee and Arindam Sil. The film revolves around two strong-willed women who break the mould and live life on their terms. Rukhsar, a hapless woman, transforms herself into a beautiful woman with more control over the men in her life. Meanwhile, Lajuk, a god-fearing girl, learns to stand up for herself. Can these women achieve gender-equal in a male-dominated world?

4. Ekchakra

Ekchakra is a 2019 Bangla action drama film starring Priyanka Rati Pal, Indrasish Roy, Sugato Roy and Garima Ghosh. When Zoya Rehman, a brave female police officer, gets transferred to a village called Ekchakra, she discovers that the village is a gateway for women trafficking. Zoya sets out to expose Bakrakshas, a powerful criminal, who heads the trafficking mafia.
