Akshay Kumar is one of the busiest actors in the year 2021 as he has multiple projects lined up. The actor has lately been in the news ever since the release date of his film, Sooryavanshi, was announced by the makers. The film had been originally scheduled to release in March 2020 but the date had to be pushed due to the ongoing pandemic and the subsequent lockdown. The film will hit the theatres on April 30, 2021, putting rest to the rumours about its digital release. The actor has also been working on a film named Ram Setu, which is expected to have a mythological touch, as conveyed by the name. The movie will go on floors in the next few days at Ayodhya which is considered to be the sacred birthplace of Lord Rama.

The actor will be seen playing the lead role in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film, Sooryavanshi, which has been creating a lot of buzz amongst the people ever since the release of its trailer in March 2020. The film has been scheduled to release at the theatres on April 30, 2021, and the piece of information was announced on the occasion of director Rohit Shetty’s birthday recently. The film also star actors like Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, and Katrina Kaif in important roles.

Akshay Kumar has also been in the news ever since he announced his next film, Ram Setu, through his official social media. The film is being directed by Abhishek Sharma and is expected to have a dash of mythology in the main plotline. Akshay Kumar had previously revealed that he had taken permission from Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to set a shooting schedule in Ayodhya. He will soon be heading to the city in order to kickstart the shooting process. The film Ram Setu also stars Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez in key roles.
