Akshay Kumar Meets BSF Jawans In Jammu & Kashmir, Pays Homage To Martyrs

Recently, Akshay Kumar reached Jammu & Kashmir to meet BSF soldiers and interacted with them in some interesting sessions. The actor also participated in the wreath-laying ceremony to honour the martyrs.

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is often seen visiting the Indian army, gracing their special events. The actor always credits our nation’s safety to the men of the borders. And he never misses out on a chance to spend some quality time with them on special occasions. Quite similarly, Akshay recently went to Jammu and Kashmir to meet the jawans of the Border Security Force (BSF). Sharing pictures from his visit, the actor talked about his “humbling” experience meeting the real heroes.

On Thursday, June 17, Akshay reached the Tulail area along the LOC in the Gurez valley of Jammu and Kashmir. He met the soldiers of BSF and interacted with them in some interesting sessions. Apart from clicking pictures with the jawans, Akshay also danced with them. The actor also paid respect to the soldiers who lost their lives for the nation. He participated in the wreath-laying ceremony to honour the martyrs.

Akshay took to his social media handles to share pictures from his visit. He wrote, “Spent a memorable day with the @bsf_india bravehearts guarding the borders today. Coming here is always a humbling experience meeting the real heroes My heart is filled with nothing but respect.” Also, the actor was seen playing volleyball with the jawans.

Furthermore, in his visit, Akshay also visited a remote village Neeru, situated near LOC in Gurez valley. The actor interacted with some officials and donated Rs 1 crore for the construction of a school building in the locality.

Talking about his work front, Akshay was last seen in the horror-comedy flick Laxmii which received a negative response from critics as well as the fans. The actor is currently gearing up for his next film Bell Bottom which is scheduled to release on July 27.
