Singer and composer Akhil Sachdeva has once again created melodious magic on social media. Recently, taking to Instagram, the musician posted a video of himself singing one of his hit numbers, Sunn Mere Humsafar from the romantic comedy film Badrinath Ki Dulhania. In the clip, he is accompanied by composer and friend Vishal Mishra. The video has raked thousands of like on the photo-sharing platform with fans going gaga over his singing prowess. In the video, fans can see Vishal and Akhil jamming together on a chilly night. The musical icons spent their new year vacation in one of the exotic places of India, Dharamshala. Weeks after, Akhil shared a throwback video of their vacation which has garnered tremendous appreciation from fans. Donning an all-black winter ensemble, Akhil stands alongside Vishal who is seated, playing the guitar.

Matching their rhythm together, the two steal the limelight with their melodious voice. While sharing the clip, Akhil wrote, “Our New Year’s Eve was Hill, music and us. Love you so much meri jaan @vishalmishra.” The video comes a month after the musician tied the knot with Tanya Gulla in Jaipur’s Samode Haweli.

Akhil and Tanya first met each other six years ago when the latter attended one of Akhil’s concert. The singer told a leading daily that the wedding was supposed to happen next year but was shifted to an earlier date. Keeping the COVID-19 situation in mind, the couple decided to get hitched as soon as the situation stabilised without making further delays.

The intimate wedding was attended only by close friends and family. It was reportedly made mandatory for all the guests to carry their COVID-19 reports two days prior to the event. Talking about the wedding, Akhil reportedly said that the couple planned on inviting more than 200 people but the end list came down to 120 odd people.
