Sharing the poem on Instagram, Ajay wrote, “A heartfelt tribute to the Indian brave hearts..” The lyrics of the poem go as follows “Sarhard par jab goli khakar toot jaaye meri saans, mujhe bhej dena yaaro meri boodhi maa ke paas. Bada shauk tha use, mai ghodi chadhu, dham dham dhol baje, toh aisa hi karna. Mujhe ghodi par le jana, poor gaav mein ghumana, dhol bajana, or meri maa se kehna beta dulha bankar aaya hai. Bahu nahi laya toh kya, baraat toh laya hai..”

Devgn’s heartwarming tribute to Indian soldiers got netizens very emotional. They took to the comment section to praise the actor. “No words 🧡 Much.. much Respect to our all Indian Brave Hearts” wrote a fan, while another wrote, “Thank you Ajay, for making this video for our brave hearts, Salute to you!” The video immediately went viral on social media, it currently has about 480,000 views.

Even actor Akshay Kumar took to social media to praise Ajay Devgn’s poetry. He wrote, “I’m not very expressive when it comes to emotions in real life. But this got me in tears. @ajaydevgn, I didn’t know you have a brilliant poet in you. Kis Kis baat pe dil jeetoge yaar?”
