Ajay Devgn Lends A Helping Hands By Setting Up 20-Bed Covid ICU in Mumbai’s Shivaji Park

Ajay Devgn has been working with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation to help Mumbaikars affected by Covid-19. He has been helping in setting up emergency COVID-19 units.

Actor Ajay Devgn has joined hands with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to provide emergency medical facilities for Mumbaikars affected by Covid-19. The actor has been working with BMC and Hinduja Hospital to set up ICU (Intensive Care Units). As BMC and frontline workers are working restlessly to balance the COVID-19 situation, Ajay Devgn has also done his bit.

The actor along with his colleagues from the film industry has decided to take an initiative to set up an emergency medical unit in the Shivaji Park area of BMC. The COO, Joy Chakraborty confirmed, “It will be an extension of Hinduja Hospital,”. He also mentioned that they would provide food, linen, medicine, and manpower to this emergency unit. The local Shiv Sena corporator Vishaka Raut appreciated Ajay Devgn’s efforts and said, “It is great that Ajay Devgn supported BMC.”

Apart from Ajay Devgn, several other Bollywood stars are also contributing to COVID-19 relief. Bhatt has joined hands with journalist Faye D’Souza to spread useful information about COVID-19 resources through her social media page. Over the last few days, Bhatt has been sharing verified lists of COVID-19 helpline numbers across cities in India on her Instagram account. She wrote, “It is a time for great uncertainty. Infrastructure and information are the need of the hour. We are limited in terms of what we can do for infrastructure. But we can do our bit to identify and amplify relevant information”.

Other stars like Bhumi Pednekar, Ayushmann Khurrana, Sonu Sood, Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra, and several others also doing their part during these tough times. Recently, actor Kartik Aaryan also urged the youth to register for COVID-19 vaccination.
