Kaali 2, the latest season in the ZEE5 Original series Kaali, is a high-octane ride throughout. A thrilling action series, Kaali revolves around the titular protagonist played by the marvellous Paoli Dam. Jing Liang (played by Abhishek Banerjee), is a one of the most notorious drug lords in the country and has many a judiciary system across the world baying for his blood. One fine day, the police department manage to capture him. They even have a solid plan laid out to trap and block his entire network. All goes according to plan and Jing Liang has been pushed into a corner (literally) with no escape. Yet, in a stunning sequence that turns the plan on its head, Jing Liang not only does this successfully, he takes down two of the most important police officers in charge ruthlessly. Find out how he does this by watching the show!

With her son riding in the passenger’s seat, Kaali drives off first to escape the monster Akash (who she thought was her friend but turned out otherwise), and then to injure him enough to eliminate him as a threat. In a nerve-wracking car chase, Kaali gets badly injured with a small knife plunged into her shoulder by Akash. But rest assured, he pays for it when he gets all his breath knocked out of him, as wells as a gaping knife wound that renders him unable to survive.

Kaali is captured by the police and used as a piece of bait by them in order to lure in a dangerous criminal gang that they are trying to nab. She is literally placed in the line of fire by both these parties, and bullets fly. Miraculously, Kaali manages to escape, thanks to a rival gang led by Swapan (Chandan Roy Sanyal), who is Jing Liang’s sworn enemy. Watch how and see what happens after this in Episode 3 of the season.

Officer Manvi Gupta (played by Vidya Malavade), is a driven and extremely sharp police officer who is determined to catch Kaali at any cost. In a moment of reckoning, she finally comes face to face with the fugitive herself, and has all the odds stacked in her favour. Does she manage to get the better of Kaali, or vice versa? You will never be able to guess how this plays out unless you watch this highly riveting action scene in the last episode!
