Actor Rana Daggubati Talks About His Upcoming Movie Haathi Mere Saathi And About The Preparation For It

Actor Rana Daggubati will be seen next in the upcoming movie Haathi Mere Saathi whose trailer has been released and has garnered a lot of praise from the audience. The movie talks about the issue of elephant abuse and it stars Pulkit Samrat, Vishnu Vishal and many other talented actors along with Rana. The movie will release in theaters on 26 March 2021.

When asked whether the elephants seen in the trailer were real or a product of VFX, Rana said that they are all real and the cast and crew of the movie have continuously worked with 10 elephants throughout the shooting of the movie in Thailand and in Kerela they worked with one elephant. Rana revealed that he reached the location of shooting 15 days before the actual shooting started and they went through different pieces of training where they were trained how to work with the elephants and were given time to create a bond with them.

Rana said that he loved the wild during his experience of the shooting. He said that he had reached the location 15 days before the actual filming started and the cast and crew was taught how to work with the elephants and how to create a bond with them. Rana said that once the elephant accepted the people, it was quite easy to work with them. He said that the hard part of the shooting was getting the elephants ready for the takes as it took a lot of time to get them in desired position.

When asked why he wanted to play the part in Haathi Mere Saathi, Rana said that an actor always wishes to play characters which are unique and work in films whose story one would like to see happen in the real life. To play the character who voices concerns of the jungle is regarded by Rana as the noblest thing he could do and that attracted him to the role . Rana Daggubati recently got married to his girlfriend Miheeka Bajaj and Rana said that it is fun and happy in their paradise.
