Abhay 2 Is Back With A Bang And Reviews Praise The Bolder, And Darker Approach

Kunal Kemmu returned to the psychological crime thriller series Abhay. His co-stars this season include talented actors like Ram Kapoor, Chunky Pandey, Bidita Bag and Nidhi Singh who all surprise with their roles. Kunal Kemmu plays the role of STF inspector Abhay Pratap Singh who specialises in tracking down serial killers. This series based on real crimes, rated 9.2 on IMDb, is dark and gripping that is not for the faint hearted.

Here’s what critics had to say about the new season of Abhay directed by Ken Ghosh.

Hindustan Times noted that the series was ‘darker and gritter’ and summed up the new season well in two words ‘morbidly attractive’. News18 said enjoyed the ‘slick-paced and neo-noir’ treatment given to the new season. Firstpost and India Today both noted that the new season went beyond expectations set by the first season saying ‘Season 2 takes it up multiple notches’ and ‘Bigger, bolder, darker’

While Pinkvilla said that ‘it is not for the faint-hearted’, MensXP says that the series will ‘keep you on the edge of your set’. NDTV called it a ‘binge worthy brew’ while Quint says that this series is absolutely worth your time.
