83 starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in the lead has made a good hold at the box-office. Read on to know more about the box-office collection made by the film on its day 21

83 is the film that depicts the tale of the grand victory of the Indian cricket team at the World Cup match. At that time, the captain of team India was Kapil Dev and under his captaincy and decisions on the ground, the team was able to win the prestigious trophy. In the film, Ranveer Singh played the role of the Indian team captain Kapil Dev whereas Deepika Padukone essayed the character of Romi, Kapil Dev’s wife.

The film was released in theaters worldwide on December 24, 2021. Since then, 83 opened its account at the box-office with a good start. Consequently, the film showed slow progress at the ticket window. On its 21st day of release, the film has collected Rs 0.95 crore. After accumulating this amount at the box-office, the grand total of the film 83 becomes Rs 183.39 crore.

However, it was in the last week that the film entered the Rs 100 crore club. After a slow progress at the ticket window when the film finally achieved a milestone, it was absolutely a sigh of relief for the makers of the film. 83, was a directorial masterpiece made by filmmaker Kabir Khan. It showed every minute detail about the team players, their practice, their bond and at last their team building.

The film 83 was also available in other south languages besides just Hindi. The other languages include Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. However, we can now say that the film is developing great and even if the progress was slow, it is blooming great at the ticket window and even in the heart of the audience.
