80 Bamboo Huts Set Up In Manipur To Quarantine People Arriving From Out Of State
Villagers build 80 huts that are fitted with a bed, separate toilets, water supply, electricity, and a charging socket.
The ongoing lockdown as a result of the coronavirus pandemic has left a considerable amount of people stranded in many places and they are trying to go back to their hometowns in some way or the other. As COVID-19 still stirs a large amount of fear in the country, precautions have to be taken to reduce the spread or carriers of the virus.
Every state, however, is setting up quarantine facilities for all those travelers who successfully come back to their hometown. While north-eastern states have been doing everything to the maximum of their potential, Manipur seems to be a step ahead of the others.
In this state, the villagers have all come together to build 80 bamboo huts to be used as quarantine centres for those returning from outside. Each hut is fitted with a bed, toilet, water supply, electricity, and a charging socket.
