5 Years To Jazbaa: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Spectacular Comeback

Jazbaa featured Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Irrfan Khan, Shabana Azmi, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Jackie Shroff, Atul Kulkarni, Siddhanth Kapoor in pivotal roles. The movie premiered on 9 October 2015 and was directed by Sanjay Gupta. The storyline of the movie is about Anuradha Verma (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) who is a single mother and a successful lawyer.

While Irrfan Khan essays the role of Yohan, a cop who is undergoing a corruption trial. Yohan and Anuradha are childhood friends and wants her to fight the corruption case that got him suspended. But one fine day, Anuradha’s daughter gets kidnapped and goons tell her to take the case for Miyaz’s (Chandan Roy Sanyal) release. Miyaz is a convicted criminal for rape and murder. Will Anuradha be able to save her daughter? Will she win the race against time?

Actor Irrfan Khan’s character is quite witty and he entertains audiences with his one-liners like, “Mohabbat hai isiliye jaane diya, Zidd hoti toh kaske baahon mein leta” which simply wins hearts. This movie marks the comeback of Bollywood diva, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and its a treat for eyes for all her fans. Aishwarya as Anuradha looks spectacular as a stern advocate and delivers powerful dialogues with a great punch.

Actress Shabana Azmi proves to be the hero of the film and perfectly essayed the role of a mother of a rape victim. She steals everyone’s attention with her sheer talent.
