1. Be grateful

The end of yet another decade is here. With 2019 nearly out of sight and 2020 staring at us right in the face, it’s time for resolutions, vows and a promise to make the best of the coming year. It’s been too long since we stuffed our mouths with our favourite food, too long since all we did was binge-watch, went back on our resolutions but who doesn’t so that part’s fine. It’s time to wipe the slate clean and make way for fresh opportunities and adventures. 2020 is all about the new! So, take cues from your favourite Zee TV stars and kick off the new year with a bang!

Happy are those who are grateful. Reflect upon the year gone by and all that you have left. Find reasons to be thankful, and extend your gratitude to all those who add to your joy. Prepare a happiness journal!

2. Smile, please!

Laughter is proven to reduce stress. While you may have the worst hangover of your life on the first morning of 2020, wake up with a smile nonetheless. Start afresh!

3. Embrace the company of those who keep you happy

A mighty breakfast and the company of your loved ones are the key to a great beginning. Surround yourself with those who keep you happy, maintain distance from whatever affects your peace and mental being.

5. Plan your life

It’s okay to not have it all mapped out but one should always step back and take time to figure things out. Spend time with yourself. Make a one-week, one-month, two-month, etc plans. Know where you are, where you want to go and where you are headed.
