The actress alerted her fans that her account has been hacked by sharing a story on her Instagram profile. Sonalee further requested her fans to report any unusual activity that was done in the past 24 hours from her account. The actress was fortunate enough to restore her account within a day thanks to technical support. This incident has brought into light an important issue that we need to be aware of. Since it’s getting common to fall prey to hackers, we need to be extra cautious about our social media profiles. 1. Try Recovering The Account

Losing your Facebook profile is certainly not the end of your world as you still can restore your account. The first and foremost thing that the Hampi actress did was exactly that. She got in touch with the technical support staff of Facebook and was able to restore her account within 24 hours. Sonalee has been quite active on social media where she likes to keep her fans posted about her personal and professional life. The actress would have lost some information and data had she not tried to recover the account immediately. So, remember to contact the Facebook team in case you lose access to your account.

Whether or not the threat is serious, you should consider lodging a complaint with the cybercrime cell who can put the hacker behind the bars. Not only would it do you good but would help prevent the same person from committing such acts again in the future.
