1. Pigs and Vasundhara

Time and again, we have seen Vasundhara (played by Pallavi Ramisetty) talk to people, especially to Vamsi (played by Ali Reza), in a way that makes them stop and think. We know that Vasundhara in the Telugu TV show Maate Mantramu has a way with words. But hey! The tables have turned as they find themselves in an isolated cottage in a forest. Check out how Vamsi used sarcasm to shut Vasundhara up.

After taking in the fresh breeze outside, Vamsi and Vasundhara go inside for dinner. While Vamsi eats, Vasundhara sits next to him doing nothing. She tells him: “If you eat quickly, I’ll twist and turn on the bed.” To this, Vamsi responds by saying: “You are talking of twisting and turning on the bed like pigs do in dirty water. Maintain some distance.”

2. Confirming murder plans

Trying to give a crisp comeback to Vamsi’s comment, Vasundhara says: “Vishnumurthy once took the avatar of a pig. Do you know that story?” Vamsi asks if she was planning to narrate the story. When she asks for a good time to do it, Vamsi says: “I’ve still not decided when to murder you. But if you’re planning to do it, let me know. I’ll also confirm my plans.”

3. The fear of wild animals

Both of them finish their dinner and head to the bedroom. Vasundhara is unable to sleep and asks Vamsi: “Since it’s a forest, wouldn’t there be wild animals? What if they try to enter the cottage?” Vamsi wakes up from his sleep and tells Vasundhara: “There’s no need to worry. When you are here, how will any animal try to enter this cottage anyway?” A puzzled Vasundhara asks if it was a compliment or an insult. An annoyed Vamsi says: “Figure out as you sleep now.”

4. The lullaby

Vasundhara continues to bother Vamsi with her silly questions. This disturbs Vamsi’s sleep. Vasundhara offers to help, by singing a lullaby. Vamsi says: “Yes! carry me in your arms, take me to the terrace and sing a lullaby as you show me the moon. Okay?”

This may be dry sarcasm, but we’re still giving brownie points to Vamsi for it. Keep watching this space for more such updates. Until then, watch Ninne Pelladatha on ZEE5.
