Mee Raqsam that released on 21 August 2020 is directed by Baba Azmi and presented by Shabana Azmi. The film is dedicated to their father and celebrated poet, Kaifi Azmi. The film tells the story of a girl from a small town who wants to learn Bharatnatyam. However, she faces opposition from the Muslim and Hindu elders in her community who think what she is doing is against tradition and do their best to stop her from following her passion.
