3 Outfits Donned By Rakul Preet That Add A Twist To The Same Ol’ Traditional Attires

Sometime back, we were drooling our way through the outfits that Rakul Preet Singh shows off in ‘Ciciliya Ciciliya‘ from the Telugu film Spyder, also starring Mahesh Babu. But if you thought that was all, hold on. The 2016 crime-thriller has a lot more in store. Like in the song ‘Haali Haali, Rakul dons three outfits that you cannot really fit into one single category. But let’s move over categories and take notes. Girls, get your books and pens ready as we dive into adding a new charm to our old outfits.

Minimal effort and maximum result
All thanks to our Indian calendar, we have an occasion coming up every once in a while. And what’s one thing that we cannot do away with? Well, it’s the classic lehenga. But it’s time to ditch the traditional kurta or blouse and forget about covering it all up. Rakul, here, opts for a yellow bustier and glams it up with a funky Indo-Western coat.
Living the fairy tale dream
The second outfit that Rakul wears in the song is a white long and feathery skirt with a shimmery white top. The glam factor remains restricted to a simple neckpiece and a high ponytail. The next time you’re confused about how to steal the limelight at the next celebration, try opting for this simple and elegant style.
Nothing beats a classic golden gown for an evening celebration. That’s what Rakul does for the next outfit. The first layer, of a golden gown, seems to be a good enough option. The off-shoulder dress also has a full sleeve, but Rakul does not stop there. There is a second layer of a purple chiffon fabric adorning her golden outfit which completes her look. And let’s be honest, with little house hacks and tailoring skills, we can achieve this too.
What are you waiting for? Take ’em old clothes out and sew a new swag into them. In the meantime, check out Rakul in Loukyam on ZEE5.
