3 New Shows, A Film And More: Here’s What’s Coming Your Way On ZEE5 In August

Half a year has gone by already but it is important to remind ourselves that there was only little in our control during the Coronoavirus crisis. So, without drowning yourself in guilt, get pumped because we have entertainment to help us sail through the rest of the year, too. After all, ZEE5, the leading streaming platform of our country as a lot in store for you.

Take a look at all that’s coming your way:

ZEE5 has announced a list of films, original shows and television shows that will be releasing on the platform in August. Get ready to enjoy a recently released Tamil film, in Telugu. Titled Donga, it stars Jyothika and Karthi as estranged siblings, who also happen to be related as siblings-in-law in real life. The Jeetu Joseph directorial also stars Sathyaraj and Seetha in the film, along with Super Deluxe fame child artiste, Ashwanth Ashokkumar.

Apart from this film, Zee Telugu is all set with five new offerings. Be ready to watch and enjoy the elaborate events in Krishna Krishna and Bapu Bommaki Pellanta. The first one will be a celebration of Lord Krishna on the occasion of Janmashtami while the second is a special Ganesh Chaturthi event. Stay tuned to this space as we gather all the details for you, along with some inside scoop.

The channel is also set to launch the Telugu remake of a popular Zee TV show, Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, as Hilter Gari Pellam. Your favourite Nirupam Paritala will be on prime-time show once again. Get your daily dose of health advice on the exclusive show, Andariki Aarogyam. And you definitely do not want to miss out on the 13th season of the national-favourite singing show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

The streaming platform is also set to launch its first Pakistani original show titled Churails. Bollywood actor Kunal Khemmu starrer Abhay, a detective-drama, will also see the release of its second season. Noted actor Adil Hussain will be seen in a challenging role in the film, Pareeksha, too. Lastly, iconic actors of Indian cinema, Naseeruddin Shah and Shabana Azmi will be paying tribute to Kaifi Azmi in the upcoming ZEE5 original film, Mee Raqsam.
