Following all the rumours and negative propaganda around the farmer protests, the government imposed a ban on internet services and voice call recording on Sunday in several districts of Haryana, including Sonepat, Rohtak, Kuruskshetra, Jhajjhar, Hisar and Ambala. Similarly, digital services were also disbanded in areas in and around the Singhu and the Ghazipur border.
