1. Shivanasamudra Falls
Located just 130 KMS from Bangalore, is the home of the Shivanasamudra Falls situated in Mandya, Karnataka. The interesting thing about this place is that the Kaveri river divides the mighty waterfall into two individual streams; Barachukki and Gaganachukki Falls respectively.
2. Jog Falls
400 KMS away from Bangalore are the massive 830 ft (approx) waterfalls, the Jog Falls. It is located in the Siddapura district and is one of the most popular waterfalls in the entire state, for tourists. Originating from the Sharavathi River, tourists get a good glimpse of the falls during and slightly after the monsoon seasons.

Situated in the Bramhagiri Hills near Kodagu, Karnataka, The Iruppu Falls is another rarely visited jewel you must add in your bucket list. It is also called as the Lakshmana Tirtha Falls by the locals who reside around it. A weekend trip anyone?

Just 6 KMS away from the beautiful hill-station of Kemmanagundi, the Hebbe waterfalls can be visited after making a trip to the Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary (a tiger-reserve). With a height of approx 550 meters, this waterfall too, gets divided into the Dodda Hebbe and Chikka Hebbe Falls.

Another less visited spot, unexplored by many tourists is the Unchalli falls, located near Sirsi. It is also known as the Lushington falls and drops down from the Aghanashini river. 9. Apsara Konda Falls
Legend has it that once upon a time Angels would descend from the heavens to take a bath in the serene pond located below the Apsara Konda waterfalls, hence the name. The best part about visiting these falls located near Murudeshwar is that it appears like a lagoon since it directly faces the sea. Now, you don’t need to step out of India for such a scenic view again!
10. Chunchi Falls
If you by chance don’t have the time to go far away from the city, try the Chunchi falls located near Kanakapura on the outskirts of Bangalore. It is located only 83 KMS from the main city and stands about 100 feet tall and proves to be an ideal spot to relax and swim for tourists.
