Plot of Meri Behen Maya

Meri Behen Maya deals with the lives of sisters Maya and Zarmeena, who share a close bond. They are the apples of their father, Shazeb Khan's, eyes. However, their stepmother Attiya despises them both, especially Maya. She constantly attempts to create havoc in Maya’s life. The bitterness towards Maya is due to the fact that she was adopted.

Meanwhile, Zarmeena is in love with Faizar and plans to marry him. Things turn ugly when Attiya conspires with her son Rashid to kidnap her. Meanwhile, Maya uncovers Rashid’s criminal trafficking activities. She takes refuge in her friend Zeb’s house. Zeb also gets caught up in Rashid’s net but helps Maya face her fears. The series follows how the sisters grapple with these mishaps on the path to their happiness and whether criminals like Rashid are finally brought to justice.
