Abhay notices that Shalini is standing alone and indulged in her own thoughts. After asking what she is thinking, Shalini tells that she is feeling bad for him because of her age. To console her that, he jokingly says that he feels as if he was in his thirties and he would like to sit at home and eat snacks with her just like an uncle. She then requests him to dance at home itself. He agrees and they both starts dancing. After a while, Shanthi, who is passing by, notices them dancing and starts laughing. Shalini is from a lower middle class family who works as a school teacher and Abhay is a TV journalist , Abhay makes a false news against her and makes her lose her job, he realizes the mistake and helps her in regaining the job, during this process they become friends and Abhay falls for her simplicity and straight forwardness he falls in love with her Shalini says she has always seen him as only a good friend and says she has no special feelings for him. She also explains him that it is not socially acceptable as he is 5 years younger than her. Will Abhay eventually wins her over with his true love and his everlasting flamboyant attitude?
