Vidya tells Raghav that she will return with him as his daughter-in-law and never betray his trust. Raghav asks the priest to complete the remaining rituals but Sindoora arrives then and demands that the wedding rituals be stopped. However, Raghav asserts that he knows whats right for his son. An unrelenting Sindoora then drags Sagar away but Raghav slaps her! Sindoora gets furious with him for slapping her because of a girl who was not even his daughter-in-law yet! Raghav warns her not to create any more obstacles in Sagars wedding, or he would disown her! Sindoora walks away in a huff. Mahua subtly taunts Sindoora about her dwindling status in the family. She says that their father had insulted her in public because Vidya had cast a spell on him! Chandra worries about the consequences if the tide does not turn in their favour at home and if the truth about why they dont want to Sagar to get married is out in the open. Sindoora vows never to get her fathers wishes fulfilled. Raghav is happy that Sagar and Vidya have got married but worries about the impending storm awaiting him at home. Hema insists that Sagar and Vidya first come to her maternal house after the wedding. Kaushalya asks Vidya later why there were so many differences between the members of Raghavs family. Just then, they hear Sagar screaming when Shalu lights crackers. Shalu mocks Vidya about getting a husband as well as child! Vidya protects Sagar. Just then, Cheenu comes to take Vidya away. Vidya leaves her maternal home with a heavy heart. Raghav is excited about welcoming Vidya and asks Sindoora to dress up. Sindoora retorts that she does not want to welcome any stranger! She taunts that Sagar does not even know that he is married now! Raghav asks her to accept the truth about Sagars marriage. Just then, Sagar and Vidya arrive and Uma gives Vidya a warm traditional welcome, while Sindoora and her sisters watch her in contempt.
