Sonakshi Sinha And Riteish Deshmukh To Star In Ronnie Screwvala’s Horror Comedy, Shooting To Begin By July 16

With a bio-bubble being prepared, Riteish Deshmukh and Sonakshi Sinha will soon fly to Rajasthan to shoot their 40-day schedule for Ronnie Screwvala’s next.

The Hindi film industry has been evolving over the years, with audiences accepting and loving new and mixed genres of movies. One great example of this is the newfound love for horror comedies. Right from Dinesh Vijan’s Stree to his upcoming Bhediya, people have accepted the genre with open arms. Thus, more and more people are now willing to try their hand in the genre. Two such actors are Sonakshi Sinha and Riteish Deshmukh who have recently signed RSVP Movies’ upcoming horror-comedy.

According to reports, Riteish Deshmukh and Sonakshi Sinha will soon fly to Rajashthan to start filming their upcoming horror-comedy film. In fact, arrangements for a bio bubble have already begun at the location. This untitled horror comedy produced by Ronnie Srewvala, under his banner of RSVP Movies, is scheduled to go on floors by July 16. Keeping the current situation in mind, the film will be shot start-to-end in a single 40-day schedule.

The film will be helmed by popular Marathi director Aditya Sarpotdar. This film will mark his big Bollywood debut. To jog your memory, Aditya Sarpotdar is popularly known for directing films like ‘Classmates’, ‘Mauli’, and ‘Ulhadal’. The film was earlier scheduled to go on floors around September, although now it has been preponed for two months.

Sonakshi Sinha is currently gearing up for the release of her war drama Bhuj: The Pride of India opposite Ajay Devgn. Meanwhile, she has also finished her shoot for her OTT debut, ‘Fallen’, helmed by Reema Kagti. She also has Netflix’s ‘Bulbul Tarang’ that will go on floors after RSVP’s horror-comedy. On the other hand, Riteish Deshmukh is currently shooting for Shashanka Ghosh’s untitled film and will jump to the horror-comedy only after he concludes it.
