Today marks the 152nd birth anniversary of the Father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. He is known as Bapu Ji, he played a crucial role in the Independence of our country. Gandhi Ji was at the forefront of fighting for Independence from the Britishers. His Satyagraha movement was a game-changer in the pre-Independence times. Today is also observed as the International Day of Non-Violence, it was declared by the United Nations General Assembly. Our Bollywood actors have taken to their social media accounts to extend their wishes on Gandhi Jayanti. Actors including Taapsee Pannu, Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Deol, Katrina Kaif and others.
Earlier today Taapsee Pannu took to her Twitter handle and dropped a Gandhi Jayanti post. In her tweet, she wrote, “Something I follow in life which has given me immense peace…. Happy Gandhi Jayanti #GandhiJayanti2021 #GandhiJayanti”. Along with it, she dropped an edited photo of Mahatma Gandhi, which also features a quote that reads as “Hate the sin not the sinner”.

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt also took to his Twitter handle and extended his wishes for the day. “To the man who taught us all. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. #GandhiJayanti”, he wrote in his tweet. Along with it, he dropped an edited photo in which “Happy Gandhi Jayanti”, was written.
