Shikhar Dhawan is back with a bang ahead of England T20
In a recent match against Maharashtra at the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy, Shikhar Dhawan managed to slam Maharashtra with 153 runs while he was playing for his domestic side, Delhi. He clearly announced that he has returned to form ahead of the England T20 match with his score. The match took place at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday. Since the tour to Australia, Shikhar has been struggling to score at the domestic matches and he could hardly make anything above 5o runs and sometimes even a single digit score.

He managed to hit 153 runs from 118 balls and managed to hit 21 boundaries and a six for Delhi Capitals. It was because of him that Delhi could chase the 329-run target and could retain their second spot in Group D of the 50-overs domestic tournament. Shikhar will soon be joining the Indian team for the upcoming 5-match T20I series. The matches will begin on March 12 in Ahmedabad. The team and the audience are now hoping he will keep up to their expectations and not take another low dip. Scoring in the match against England will be a great opportunity for him to gain all the trust.
Shikhar was slammed on the internet for several weeks because of his low scores. However, the player made sure he would stay positive and focus on his game. It is often seen that when celebrities or players get hate on the internet, they go under depression and severe pressure. However, since Dhawan has always had an optimistic behaviour, he hasn’t let the negativity go past him and managed to stay calm throughout. Take a look at his recent post where he is seen enjoying himself with his friends.
