When she met Karan Johar and discussed the same, he also advised her to focus on her education and finish her studies. Later, she was launched by Dharma Productions and had already signed three movies within her debut year. She was even offered Kabir Singh to play the part of Preeti, but by then, she was already working on two projects. She also didn’t agree with the misogynistic tone of the film, so she had to let it go. In the industry, she considers Karan as her mentor and a friend she can lean on. Being a human, Tara does find the trolls to be extremely ruthless and hurtful. But then she realizes that she chose to be a public figure, so it’s now a part of her life. She needs to be thick-skinned to stay unbothered.
