Antim: The Final Truth starring Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma was released on November 26. The film takes a decent start at the ticket window on day 1 of its release
Antim: The Final Truth is a recent film starring Salman Khan and his real-life brother-in-law Aayush Sharma. For the first time, they shared the screen space and that too as rivals. The film directed by Mahesh Manjrekar was released in theatres on Friday i.e., on November 26. The film received positive reviews from the audience and even from the film critics.
Speaking of the box-office collection of Antim, the film collected around Rs. 4.25-4.5 crore on its opening day, as per early estimates. According to the report of a leading daily, Antim: The Final Truth collected in the 4.25-4.50 crore nett range which is a reasonable collection if the film can get some solid growth on Saturday. Further hinting at how Salman’s release affected John’s film, the report further added that Antim: The Final Truth has affected the collections of Satyameva Jayate 2 which was expected and the film is down 40-50% with huge falls at bigger multiplexes.
It was predicted that the film starring Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma could well take an opening of Rs. 6-7 crores. Though that didn’t happen, what it has managed is still a start and hence there is at least an opportunity for Antim: The Final Truth to grow from here.
Speaking of day 2, Antim has witnessed morning occupancy of 18-20% all across the country. It’s a slight growth when compared to a day ago’s average of 15% occupancy. Of course, it’s nowhere near when compared to the development of Salman Khan films. But since yesterday, reviews have been spread stating the film is Aayush Sharma’s show. He went through massive body transformation in order to nail the character of Rahuliya, the deadly gangster in the film.
Speaking of the film, it is directed by Mahesh Manajrekar and also stars Mahima Makwana in the lead role. It is the Hindi remake of the Marathi film Mulshi Pattern. Obviously, the film comes with an extra punch of entertainment, drama and action. The audience is making sure that they visit the theatres and watch the film only on the large screens.
