According to a statement by Kangana Ranaut’s advocate Birendra Saraf, the suit would be withdrawn in four days. Further, the actress will apply for regularisation of the structure within the duration of four weeks. In accordance with the court order, the BMC shall respond to the application immediately.

In Kangana’s case, Saraf made an argument that the illegal construction is not on the developer’s behalf, BMC objected to the statement. During the proceeding, Justice Prithviraj Chavan asked Saraf if the withdrawal was unconditional or not. Saraf said that it was unconditional and thus dropped his request.
In 2018, the BMC had issued notice to Kangana Ranaut for illegal construction in her apartment. The actress has 3 apartments in a building situated at Khar West, Mumbai. She had merged the apartments and constructed more than the permissible limit.
