Today marks the 13th anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attacks. Taking to their social media handles many celebrities including Akshay Kumar And Sara Ali Khan expressed their respect for the martyrs. Check out their heartfelt messages

Today marks the 13th anniversary of the disastrous terror attack in Mumbai, which left 300 people injured and over 166 people dead. Terrorists attacked Mumbai’s Nariman House, Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Oberoi Trident, Cafe Leopold, and Cama Hospital on November 26, 2008. The Mumbai Terror Attacks of November 26, 2008, lasted four days.

Many Bollywood celebrities have taken to social media to pay tribute to the martyrs who were killed in the attack. Akshay Kumar took to Instagram Stories with a message that read, “It’s been 13 years since the horrific #mumbaiterrorattack”. He remembered all those who have lost their lives or those who have lost loved ones.  He also offered heartfelt thanks to all the brave souls who gave their lives to keep our city safe.

Sara Ali Khan reposted a post from the Mumbai Police Department in her story with folded hand emojis, saying that the ‘Martyears will be remembered forever. Ahan Shetty also took to Instagram Stories to share a photo of the Taj Hotel with the date 26/11 written on it. Abhishek Bachchan also took to his IG and shared a story.

Vivek Oberoi took to his Instagram account and posted a photo with the caption “Heroes Never Die.” Take a second to recall the braves who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect us. While we were trying to hide in our homes, they were facing bullets, he captioned the post, by adding that he honours the martyrs.

On the professional front, Akshay Kumar will appear in a digital film directed by Anand L Rai alongside Sara Ali Khan. The trailer for the film was released on Wednesday. Dhanush’s character is seen forcibly marrying Sara, a fiery young lady who is in love with a different man, played by Akshay Kumar. Despite the fact that Dhanush is 12 years older than Sara, Akshay is shown to be 28 years older.

Ahan Shetty, on the other hand, is getting ready for his upcoming film Tadap, in which he will be seen romancing Student of the Year 2 actress Tara Sutaria.
